The Society performs the following activities which are in line with its objectives:

1. Publish journals and other materials;
2. Organize lectures, seminars, workshops, training programs, etc.;
3. Provide contacts, training, promotion, and commendation for research;
4. Contact and cooperate among internationally/domestically related societies and institutions;
5. Grant ISSAAS AWARD to distinguished individuals and groups;
6. Conduct studies and develop proposals, and
7. Perform any other functions needed to achieve any of the stated objectives.
