ISSAAS Congress delegates
The International Society for Southeast Asian Agricultural Sciences (ISSAAS) held its International Congress and Annual Meeting last February 23-27, 2009 at the Emerald Hotel, Ratchadapisek Road, Bangkok, Thailand. The Theme for the congress was "Agriculture for the 3 Es: Economy, Environment and Energy".

Announcements


Latest journal abstracts available for download!

We are pleased to announce that the abstracts of papers published in the
Journal of ISSAAS, Volume 14, Number 1 is now available for download at the ISSAAS Journal section (Issues subsection).

There are ten papers from various areas of agricultural science.  These
include  4  invited papers which were presented by the invited speakers from
the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia in the plenary sessions of
the International Congress of the International Society for Southeast Asian
Agricultural Sciences (ISSAAS) held in Melaka, Malaysia last December 2007
with the theme:  Agriculture is a Business.

There are also 6 contributed technical papers which cover areas of
sustainable water management, virology, biological control and natural
enemies
, plant growth promoting rhizobacteria, agricultural economics and
botanical pesticides.
